I hope this message will get to you. I had to take an accounting exam for my work. It’s mandatory for the position I want to. And I failed, cause there’s some things I wasn’t able to put together in my mind, and they just handed us some accounting basics sheets, that didn’t even cover 20% of the test. A friend of mine showed me your videos. Within the first videos, you made me understand accounting better than ever. I took the test once more and I’m happy to tell you that I succeed. Because of your videos and the way you teach, I was able to meet the requirement for the position I want, and keep the job. You helped me in my career and I can’t thank you enough for this!

Professor, would it be correct to say, when we issue a Bond at a discount we debit cash and Discount to the Balance sheet? Thereafter wecamortize the discount amount over the tenor of the bond. Which would mean that the discount is an Asset. Though its part of non current liability...not sure if my question even makes sense...

thank you ,the journal closing entry part clicked - due to the fin statements that was done 100% and I knew where to get the retained journal entry , in Income statement you already listed it and carried over to statement of change ,

for equity part dividends reduces retained earnings so why didnt you - divides from it also howcome u didnt add net profit from the current years income statement to the retained earnings?
